The Meeting with FISP will occur from November 24 to 28 in auditoriums and rooms of UFBA and IFBA. The Meeting with FISP is promoted by the Federal University of Bahia (https://ufba.br/) and ANPOF (https://anpof.org.br/), as well as by the Interamerican Society of Philosophy (whose last Congress was organized by the Philosophical Society of Uruguay, https://congresosif2024.sfu.org.uy/), in addition, of course, to the FISP (https://www.fisp.org/).

The Meeting will be held entirely in person, with some activities broadcast or recorded for later dissemination. The official languages of the Meeting will be Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French.

The opening lecture, “Cultural Kinds in Rationality”, will be given on the morning of November 24 by the President of FISP, Heisook Kim. The closing lecture, “Perspectivism and Interculturality”, will be given on the afternoon of November 28 by Oswaldo Giacoia (Unicamp/PUCPR), one of our most distinguished philosophers.
